Assistant Director of Public Affairs

Mike is responsible for overseeing the development of Allegheny College's public website, creating graphics and web applications. Since arriving at Allegheny in 2002, he has overseen a ground-up redesign of the College's website, as well as implementing a content management system, weblog tools, and several web applications to make it easier for users on campus to submit web changes.

He received his B.A. from Duquesne University, where we worked for several years as University Webmaster after graduation. He has developed websites for large and small businesses in Northwest Pennsylvania and he has won several local and national awards, including a 2003 Erie Ad Club award for Allegheny's Centerstage Series email campaign, His previous awards include a Macromedia national site of the day award, a Yahoo! Pick of the Day award, and several Erie Ad Club awards.

Josh Tysiachney
Web Communications Coordinator and Co-Editor of Allegheny Magazine

Josh helps to write and develop content for Allegheny's public web site. He joined the web development team in July 2006 and started his career at Allegheny in 2000 in the College's Office of Alumni Affairs. He later coordinated marketing and communication efforts for the College's $115 million fundraising campaign, Tradition & Transformation. Josh received his B.A. and M.A. from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
